Before entering dimensions
Decide exactly what surface belongs to the material line. Keep ceilings, trim, accessories, and unrelated work out of the main calculation unless the same product genuinely covers them. Measure irregular rooms in separate rectangles or wall faces, then preserve the raw entries in a note or sketch.
Use numbers from the selected product package whenever a calculator asks for coverage, carton coverage, sheet dimensions, or price. HomeCalc does not substitute a generic product average for that information. The result is therefore a planning aid, not a product recommendation.
